busy day

We have had a busy day so far. Mom and I slept till 9:30 praise God!! and it was a good sound sleep. We had a nice breakfast.

I went to her house to see about fixing her front room floor. After the floor is fixed, then we can rearrange the furniture to allow the installation of a new gas heater for the living room.

We are pricing a stand-alone gas heater, which would be placed on the south wall.

We are also replacing her hot water heater and having new gas line put in on the south side ofthe house for it and the kitchen stove and the living room heater. That will do away with all the old gas lines under the house and along the north side.

We want Granny to stay in her home as long as possible, maybe never having to go to a nursing home and these changes will make her life so much easier.

These changes have been in the planning a long time, but I guess this must be the right time to get them done.
