I'm restarting the blog about Granny Eunice's Life.
Granny Eunice (Swift) Hightower is now 97 1/2 years old and is doing well. She's lost some strength and can hardly stand on her two feet more than a minute or two, but when seated she is happy and content.
This picture was taken a few months ago, but it is a good one of her.

Prayer Day
Granny and I got to sleep in till 9 today, praise God! We had a nice breakfast of cereal and I started through my many emails.
One lady in OKC wanted prayer; she was being bombarded by troubles on every side. Her stepdad is in serious condition in hospital in Arkansas. Her grandmother was in hospital in Floriday with a stroke. Her sister's husband left for Iraq recently and then she found out he had been being unfaithful. Her other sister's boyfriend kicked her out in the middle of the night, but then they reconciled.
So I started praying and Mom did too. We prayed for all of you--I won't name you, you know who you are.
We thanked God for health and strength and for working a miracle in Mom's leg and body. We believe that God has extended her life for at least 10 more years, and He has a reason for keeping her here on earth with us. I believe that reason is to pray for us, and she believes that too.
So just know that if you have a problem or even if you don't have a problem right now, Granny is still praying for you.
Matthew 6: 32 says "Your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you."
Your heavenly Father has Granny here on earth to pray for you.
Love, Lavon

thursday Oct 18
Granny and I are up, wide awake this morning, with Zac here to spend the day since school is out today and tomorrow for fall break.
Zac is playing Insaniquarium, one of our favorite games. He is winning, LOL!
Granny is taking a little nap in her recliner, after a nice breakfast of cereal, banana, and a pb&j toast sandwich. Oh, and she had coffee, but I had a Diet Dr Pepper for my caffeine.
